By accessing or using the El Dorado Golden Retrievers website and services, or by placing a reservation deposit for a puppy, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not use our services or reserve a puppy.
A non-refundable deposit of $500 is required to reserve a puppy. This deposit secures your position in the selection process and is applied toward the total purchase price. Deposits may be paid by cash or check only. All deposits are final and non-refundable except as expressly stated in our Refund Policy.
By placing a deposit, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to abide by all terms and conditions set forth in these Terms of Service, the Purchase Contract, and the Refund Policy.
Puppy selection is made in the order deposits are received. We reserve the right to retain any puppy from any litter for our breeding program or other purposes at our sole discretion. While we make every effort to provide accurate information about available puppies, availability is subject to change without notice.
If your preferred puppy becomes unavailable, you will be offered the next available puppy that meets your preferences, or you may choose to wait for a future litter. Deposits are transferable to future litters at the buyer's request.
All puppies are raised in our home with care and attention to their health and socialization. The mother has been Embark tested to verify genetic health. However, we make no warranties or guarantees regarding the future health, temperament, size, or appearance of any puppy beyond what is expressly stated in the Purchase Contract.
Buyers are strongly encouraged to have their puppy examined by a licensed veterinarian within 72 hours of taking possession. Any health concerns must be reported to us immediately in writing.
Puppies are available for pickup at our location in Cameron Park, California (95682). Puppies will be ready to go to their forever homes on December 15th, 2025, or as otherwise agreed upon in writing. Buyers are responsible for arranging and paying for all transportation costs.
If a buyer fails to pick up their puppy within 7 days of the agreed-upon pickup date without prior written arrangement, the deposit will be forfeited, and the puppy may be made available to other buyers.
The total purchase price must be paid in full before the puppy is released to the buyer. Acceptable payment methods include cash or certified check. Personal checks must clear our bank before the puppy will be released.
By purchasing a puppy, you agree to provide proper care, nutrition, veterinary care, training, and a safe, loving home environment. You agree to comply with all applicable local, state, and federal laws regarding pet ownership.
If at any time you are unable to care for the puppy, you agree to contact us first before rehoming or surrendering the dog to a shelter or rescue organization.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, El Dorado Golden Retrievers, its owners, agents, and representatives shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from:
Our total liability to you for any claims arising out of or related to these Terms of Service or your purchase of a puppy shall not exceed the amount you paid to us for the puppy.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless El Dorado Golden Retrievers, its owners, officers, agents, and employees from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, expenses, or fees (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from:
These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms of Service or your purchase of a puppy shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in El Dorado County, California, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of such courts.
Before filing any legal action, the parties agree to attempt to resolve the dispute through good faith negotiation. If the dispute cannot be resolved through negotiation within 30 days, either party may pursue legal remedies.
You agree that any dispute resolution proceedings will be conducted only on an individual basis and not in a class, consolidated, or representative action. You waive any right to participate in a class action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration.
If any provision of these Terms of Service is found to be unlawful, void, or unenforceable, that provision shall be deemed severable and shall not affect the validity and enforceability of the remaining provisions.
These Terms of Service, together with the Purchase Contract, Refund Policy, and Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and El Dorado Golden Retrievers regarding your purchase of a puppy and supersede all prior or contemporaneous understandings and agreements, whether written or oral.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website. Your continued use of our services after any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms of Service.
